Criminal Minds: Spin-off Has Been Picked Up
Despite my view that we don’t really need another Criminal Minds (I’m sure these guys really care about that) — CBS has apparently officially picked up the CM spin off, or at least that’s what Entertainment Weekly is reporting on The Ausiello Files blog:
It’s official: CBS’ Criminal Minds spin-off has been greenlit for fall. The procedural, starring Oscar-winner Forest Whitaker, joins fellow Eye pickups Hawaii 5-0, Defenders, Blue Bloods, and Mike and Molly. Viewers were introduced to Whitaker’s BAU agent in an episode of Minds that aired last month.
The series will star Matt Ryan, the actor, not the football player, along with Whitaker.

Update: Looks like this will be the show’s Facebook page and it will be called Primal Instincts.
